In a double bill of Richard Strauss and Mozart, the strings of Britten Sinfonia show off their versatility, revelling in late-Romantic luscious sonority but also showing crystal clarity in accompanying two Mozart piano concertos. Award-winning pianist Paul Lewis performs the two concertos, including Mozart's final piano concerto with its famous ethereal
slow movement.
